At PURITI, producing the world’s most authentic New Zealand Mānuka honey goes hand in hand with protecting the environment that makes it possible. PURITI is proud to be Toitū Net Carbon Zero certified, an internationally recognised assurance of our sustainability performance and our commitment to reducing our environmental impact.
Through Toitū Envirocare’s rigorous certification programme, we measure and independently verify all operational greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across our business to ISO 14064 1 and Toitū programme requirements. This includes the minimum boundary and hard to abate emissions generated throughout the PURITI process, including beekeeping, honey extraction, production, packaging, energy use, and global distribution. With a science based reduction plan in place, we continue to reduce our emissions annually and offset the remaining unavoidable emissions using high integrity, verified carbon credits. This enables PURITI to achieve net zero carbon emissions.
As part of the Toitū Together community, PURITI is connected with leading New Zealand organisations committed to real and measurable climate action. Sustainability is not a claim for us. It is a long term, independently verified responsibility to transparency, environmental care, and protecting the untouched New Zealand landscapes that allow Mānuka to flourish.
At PURITI, purity begins with nature. By caring for our land, our bees, and our future, we ensure that every jar of PURITI Mānuka honey reflects the highest levels of quality, authenticity, and environmental responsibility.
